With the aim of improving the quality and availability of exercising rights in the social protection field, the service “Social worker in your local community” has been developed and established, which is one of the project activities “Enhancing the life quality and access to services and rights in the field of social welfare for the residents of Laktaši”.
Funds for the project implementation were provided by participating in the public competition for the distribution of funds from the games of chance conducted by the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare of the Republic of Srpska. The established service provides residents of five local communities with better access to exercising their social protection rights, and enables the professionals of the Social Centre, as holders of social protection at the local level, to review the state of expressed social needs, to identify and suppress the causes due to which persons are in a state of social need.
