FUNDS PROVIDED FOR REPLACING THE HEATING SYSTEM IN THE KINDERGARTEN IN LAKTAŠI

Miroslav Bojić, the Mayor of Laktaši municipality, signed the contract for the commence of the work on heating system reconstruction in the kindergarten „Princess Katarina Karađorđević“ in Laktaši.

The funds were completely provided from the funds of IPA cross-border cooperation program.

New heating systems in this preschool will work on the principle of heating pumps that use energy from the air (aerothermal energy) which will replace old electric boilers heating system. In this way, the kindergarten „Princess Katarina Karađorđević“ will have both heating and cooling of the facility in one system, with significant savings in electricity, and thus the reduction in the operating costs of this institution.

The project has been conducted within Interregional IPA cross-border program of Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Montenegro 2014-2020, the priority 2: Protection of the environment and biodiversity, improvement of risk prevention and promotion of sustainable energy and energy efficiency.

The project is co-financed by EFPP and IPA II of the European Union funds.
